On 16 May 2012 the Centre for History of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Belarusian Diplomatic Service opened an exhibition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Soviet statesman, party figure, diplomat, native of Belarus, Petr Andreevich Abrasimov.

The exhibition is a joint effort of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus (NARB). The exposition presents documents from NARB, the Belarusian State Archives of Photographs, Films and Sound Recordings, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Archives of Foreign Police of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and the Russian State Archives of Contemporary History.
Attending the opening of the exhibition were the Foreign Minister of Belarus S. Martynov, the director at the Department for Archives and Records Management of the Justice Ministry V. Adamushko, NARB acting diretor N. Rudakovsky, representatives of Belarusian public and mass media.
