Historical background
The Archives was established on November 11, 1963 as the Branch of the State Archives of Minsk Region in Slutsk to consolidate the abolished Kopyl, Liuban and Slutsk district archives and the Slutsk municipal archive.
In 1996 the Archives assumed the name of the Zonal State Archives in Slutsk.
