The staff of the National Historical Archives of Belarus described the archive of the parish of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the village of Budslav

As a result of the work to reveal documents in the archives of religious institutions, the staff of the National Historical Archives of Belarus described the parish archive of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the village of Budslav, Myadel district, Minsk region.

On September 13, 2021, Deputy Director of the National Historical Archives of Belarus D. V. Liseichikov and the head of information retrieval systems M. T. Skidanova processed the parish archive of the Budslav Church, which contain documents from 1731 to the late 1930s, including confessional records (“status animarum”) from 1826-1933.

An agreement was reached with the parish priest Dmitry Dubovik to make digital copies of these documents and send them to the National Historical Archives of Belarus.
