On April 20, 2021, a scientific and practical conference “International and Interregional Cooperation in the Field of Archives: Exchange of Experience” was held via videoconference organised by the State Committee on Archives of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The event was attended by employees of archival services and archival institutions of Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Novosibirsk, Ulyanovsk and Chelyabinsk regions of the Russian Federation.
At the invitation of the organizers, employees of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus (the Department) also took part in the conference.

In his welcoming speech to the participants, Deputy Director of the Department A. E. Tsvetkov emphasized the importance of the chosen topic of the conference and noted that Belarusian archival institutions have accumulated many years of practical cooperation with colleagues from a number of foreign countries.

The event program included a report “International Activities of the State Archival Industry of the Republic of Belarus in 1991-2020” made by the Head of Organizational Work, Information and Use of Documents at the Department G. S. Zholnerkevich.
