The State Archives of Minsk Region has prepared a virtual exhibition of documents “FORMATION OF THE KOMSOMOL OF BELARUS: 1920-1925”.

September 24, 2020 marks the 100th anniversary of the Leninist Communist Youth Union of Belarus (Komsomol).

The First All-Belarusian Congress of the Komsomol was held on September 24-27, 1920, when it was decided to separate the Komsomol organization of Lithuania and to join the Komsomol organization of Belarus into the Russian Communist Youth Union. The Congress is considered the date when the Komsomol of Belarus was formed.
