The State Archives of Minsk Region has joined the Letters of Victory Project

The State Archives of Minsk Region has joined the Letters of Victory Project devoted to the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The interesting and factual sources related to the Second World War are held at the State Archives of Minsk Region. Among these are war-time letters (letters from the frontline by Victor Petyurenko to his sister Nadezhda Drozdova, letters to I.F. Krasovsky in the village of Negonichi, Berezino district, letters to his wife Nastasya Tikhonovich in the village of Khortichi, Berezino district etc.).

The Project is widely covered by “Moscow Media” incorporated editorial office of Moscow media and the All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company VGTRK.

The purpose of the project is to gather and preserve into the future a single library of war-time letters on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory.
